I hope you're all having a good laugh today! I wanted to share something that's been on my mind, and see if anyone else can relate. So, I had an absolutely brilliant weekend with my girlfriend. We went for a picnic, watched a rom-com, and just generally had a really fun time. I was laughing so much my cheeks hurt! It was the kind of day where you feel like you're living in a movie, you know?
But…(and there's always a 'but,' isn't there?)…she also did a couple of things that just made me go, 'Huh?'
For example, she decided to wear mismatched socks with her dress, she also spent 30 minutes trying to catch a pigeon, and then she tried to convince me that a squirrel was trying to steal her chips! I mean, I love her to bits, and she makes me laugh so much, but sometimes her behaviour is just so erratic! It's like she's a walking comedy sketch!
I'm not complaining lah, because I find her quite endearing even when she is being siao on. It's just that it is so unexpected sometimes, hor? It's like I never know what she might do next, and it's both exciting and a little bit exhausting. It's like kena a surprise every day!
So, I'm curious, does anyone else experience this kind of thing in their relationships? Where your partner is amazing, but also a little bit of a walking disaster? How do you balance the love and the laughter with the slight annoyance? Is it just me, or is this a normal part of relationships? I'm really keen to hear your feedback and maybe get a few tips on how to manage the 'crazy' side of things.
Maybe there's even some humor in this, lah! I would love to have a laugh with you all. Let me know!
