Do you believe in fate or free will?

I've always wondered about this. If everything is destined to happen, like fate, does that mean we don't really have control over our choices?

But then again, if free will is real, how do we explain those 'meant to be' moments in life? Like when you meet someone at the perfect time or find yourself in the right place for an opportunity it feels too perfect to be random, doesn't it?

Then what do you think? Are we making our own paths, or is it all written in the stars?

I think it's a mix of both fate and free will.

Sometimes things happen that feel like they were meant to be. Like meeting your soulmate or landing your dream job outta nowhere. That feels like fate.

But we still make choices every day that shape our lives. What we study, where we live, who we hang out with. That's free will in action.

But sometimes it's fuzzy. Like North Korean. They don't choose to be there, yet there is a way to escape. The only problem is, it's nearly impossible. So you might as well call it a fate.

Technically it's a free will, but the risk is too high.
