I forgot my own signature

Hey everyone! So, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I totally messed up, but here’s the situation:


Back in mid-2023, I opened a bank account. At the time, I didn’t realize how crucial it was to stick to a consistent signature. Turns out, the signature I casually used back then is now considered my official signature (thanks to my gym buddy for pointing this out).


Fast forward a year and a half, and I’ve somehow been rotating between three different versions of my signature (I know, not my brightest moment). They’re all variations of the same name, but still… it’s a mess.


So yeah, if anyone has any advice on how to fix this or what steps I should take moving forward, I’d really appreciate it!

LOL. Just let them know that you forgot your signature, then pick one that you think is right and stick with it. Or train yourself to have three different signatures, lol.

Yeah, I told them about that. My only option now is to change all my cards to the one correct and consistent signature.

You can update your signature with your bank by signing a new signature card. That way, you'll have a consistent signature moving forward. Just tell them about the situation

It’s actually not so straightforward as updating the bank

Cos I also forget my signature. So when signing for a purchase (not bank) like some car documents, they will compare the signature with the giro form for car loan. And sometimes it gets rejected if the signatures differ.

So the point is there must be a consistent signature even if it’s not with the bank cos sometimes they will compare. It might not work if you have a consistent signature with the bank but you anyhow sign other documents
