Is it safer to put bank Apps for Internet banking in a mobile phone without sim cards. And use the mobile phone with sim cards to obtain OTP? Can this help to avoid scammers hacking into our phones?

Pardon me to be direct. Internet banking and digibank app are like 2 faces of the same coin.
After installing digibank u use the same user name and a 6digit number u can change..
The process to install involve singpass. password/facial recognition/password by way of slow mail lasting a month.
Nothing is safe. USD credits have saturated and u must monitor your own credits. You can create your own QR for peepur to pay u and u can withdraw cash at atm.
The word deposiit has a whole new meaning. peepur pays u is ur deposits likewise ur balance with bank. Good luck
UR mobile smcard no must be registered with ur bank. All the traffics with bank must be settled at 2pm for ex u deposit 2000 cheque at pigeon hole.
next day 2000 can be withdrawn at atm. Dat the max amt of cash per day. Debit card can be used like credit card and atm card. when use as credit card use the 3 digit at the back of the card. for withdrawal cash a 6 digit pin of ur own is required.

my deposits total 141.75 is to pay Giro in a day or 2
will deposit cash to topup at atm when new needs arr.
funny money vouchers r for foods haircut etc

I use ubuntu apart from a Tizen OS smart TV just hold the power button a little longerand she introduces herself
dat at html3. synch. to mobile using firefox complete with eliminating data at gmail.com.
This will trigger the process of installing firefox at mobile pairing with TV. You realise they keep your data. synching become a bit longer if u want the olddies. U can setup a new email address without backup in html stored at google. vernila backup in new install with ubuntu system disk and a backup in .json format

I renewed quite a few years ago, free replacement that time when my old token stopped working. Not sure need to pay for new token next time or whether DBS still gives out token.

I have Maybank and DBS tokens. They r free of charge when batt. fail banks just issue.
But Banks moving towards digital tokens ; singpass /facial recognition/snail mail issued password used in a month time.
You face them when installing app. I have cut Maybank credit card into 2 pc when they complained abt singlion took too long to pay back like forever.
Actually i used the loans to buy gold. I liquidated gold at UOB with receipts bank complain i don't have an account with the bank.
I told them I was a former privilege acct holder of the bank not anymore as the children have grown and sending money no more.
