Just got back from my solo travel!
You won't believe it that I got lost and then met with a beautiful woman there, she helps me, even teach me a thing or two..
Hope we can meet again one day!
 
That's awesome. But can you tell where did you lost?
 
I have never get lost, but I did intentionally go to some places without looking at my phone just so I can discover something new. It doesn't have to be a rural area.
 
I got lost once in the woods behind my grandma house. Took a few hours to find my way out, even though I was probably only like 300 meters away.
 
I once got lost in Japan

A beautiful old lady treated me to lunch and drew a simple map on a piece of napkin to give me directions
