I once spilled an entire glass of red wine on my date’s lap. The timing was impeccable—I had just finished telling a really funny story and was about to take a sip when my elbow nudged the glass off the table. In the blink of an eye, she had a bright red stain on her light-colored dress. She tried to laugh it off, but every time she stood up, it looked like she was walking around in a crime scene. Oh man, I feel your pain! I once bought movie tickets, but we took the wrong train and ended up at a completely different station. The next train wasn't for another half hour, so we missed the whole movie
