Want hear others opinion. HBD or condo?

Father of 2 teenagers here. For me, HDB is still the most practical choice, especially if you’re looking to start a family. The grants are good, and honestly, the resale value quite steady. Condo lifestyle is nice, but the maintenance fees can be quite siong.

Anyone regretted choosing one over the other?

I staying in a EC now. it was cheap during my time. bought it at 800k about 7 years ago.

now basic 3rm EC is about 1.1m. might as well go for private condo.

Anyway, stay in HDB is the better choice if your household income is below the ceiling. Folks living in HDB still get more subsidies as compared to condo peeps, handyman also charge you cheaper for repairs.

Above the ceiling, can go for condo for investment and living.

actually after staying a few years, also feel very normal and seldom use the gym or pool. just too tired after work.

Normal for condo users . But really, just make an effort/make free time to go down to exercise. HDB stayers want such convenient gym, swimming pool and courts also don't have.
