What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve accidentally said on a date?

I had this one date where I was trying to sound all casual, and we were talking about hobbies. I meant to say, "I love trying new recipes," but somehow it came out as, "I love eating people." I froze for a second, then quickly tried to fix it, but it was too late. The awkward silence was real. We ended up laughing about it, but I was so embarrassed!

Has anything like that ever happened to you? What's the most embarrassing thing you've accidentally said on a date? 😬

yessss it happened to me back then when I was in middle school, I had just gotten a boyfriend for the first time... and we were hanging out at my house, you know that innocent youthful love? We accidentally touched hands and I stupidly said “hey, if we hold hands will I get pregnant?”

sooo embarrasing!
 
I once said something super awkward on a date. We were at a coffee shop, and I accidentally told my date that I loved her... after knowing her for like, two hours.

She just laughed and apparently she's not ready for it (obviously).

It's funny, though, because after that, we actually started talking more and realized we had a lot in common. So, even though it was super awkward, it kinda broke the ice and made the rest of the date way more relaxed.

We didn't end up together, but it was definitely a memorable experience
 
I accidentally called a date by my ex's name. No idea why that popped into my head!

On my first date I promised by gf to pay the bill. I told her not to worry, don't bring too much money. We were eating in a normal restaurant, nothing pricey. When I'm about to pay the bill, I DONT BRING ENOUGH CASH!!

No, no, no, I ONLY HAVE S$12

Luckily, she was understanding and instead paid for the bill.

I was fucking embarrassed for telling her not to worry about money.
