He bought a $8M debt or with Cash? $2million debt also need $10k+ monthly repayment.
I am debt free. Cars, houses all cleared. Will cash out one. Already invested in BKK. Plan to retire there.
See what Shan ge did? He cashed out. No point being in huge housing debt.

singlion did not ask him most likely3 millions debt. My HDB is a standby home for ALL of my descendents to stay when they r in trouble
Second son debt most likely 400,000 BTO. singlion no debt at one pt own 20kg of gold now all gone only 33 kg of silver bars and 10 1oz maple. POSB balance 25.73 after the last bill paid.
