Squid Game vs Alice in Borderland

So, I’ve been curious about these two shows Squid Game and Alice in Borderland.
Squid Game blew up everywhere and had everyone talking, but is it really as good as the hype, or did it just catch a lucky wave? And Alice in Borderland, I’ve heard some people rave about it, but is it actually worth the watch, or is it just riding on the coattails of Squid Game?

What do you think? Are these shows genuinely good, or is it all just hype?

I never watch, other Korean dramas, other than squid game. And I think it's pretty good. I just finished season one and season two. And I have got to say it changed my mind about Korean dramas. I thought it was just romantic stories, but they're actually very creative. And there are many other great Korean drama movies that I think are really great. I don't watch them, but there are many recaps on YouTube and I found them to be very entertaining.

I think both shows are genuinely good, not just hype. Squid Game became super popular because it's really intense and emotional. The season 1 is amazing, the season 2 is underwhelming.

watched both sotong game and i agreed with you. nothing beat the classic season 1.

alice in borderland also watched but the game is something hard to understand.
