"If you married somebody, you should be ready accepting their family."
Marriage is not as simple as I love you, you love me, we are happy family. In facts, we need to know about his/her family too.
It's true that every decision after marriage should be discussed between you and your spouse, but in reality... we can't deny the existence of mother/father in law.
The key is, you and your partner should have a similar value of life, so you can keep supporting each other when there's a pressure from outside.
WDYT?

Actually the solution is easy. You can marry an orphan to get rid of those problems :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
JK. I agree with you.

Honestly, that saying is kinda true. I saw some of my friends relationship went to despair as soon as family is involved

Very true. The family can be your greatest ally, or your greatest enemy

Dealing with fussy in-laws can be challenging. I've found that setting gentle boundaries while showing respect helps. Sometimes, a heartfelt conversation can clear the air. Remember, it's about finding a balance that honors both your needs and theirs.

Most important relationship is still between the couple. If in laws are not compatible, there is really no need to stay with them. Meet regularly with both spouses family can be a way to keep the relationship going.

I agree ☺️
the couple’s bond comes first. But in-laws are still family, and a little effort in understanding them goes a long way. You don’t have to stay together, but small gestures of respect can prevent unnecessary strain. A peaceful family makes marriage life much easier.
