Recently went to a card shop and play some Magic the gathering with strangers.
Wife came and looked for me, then commend that I am too old for card game.

It seem acceptable for angmo to play but for asian people, D&D and card game are childish games.

Nah, you are never too old for card games or board games. It's just that as you get older, you have more commitments in other aspects of your life, so hobbies take a back seat.

That is why, most players you see are around school-going age. But it's ok, you can just join in and play with them

Never too old for card games. They are excellent especially for senior people, may help to keep the brain active and prevent dementia. Same as mahjong if play for fun.
